Hydrosol (also known as Floral Water) is a precious water-based substance obtained from aromatic plants during the distillation process, alongside essential oils. When plant material undergoes steam distillation, the essential oil molecules are separated, while the distilled water retains the plant’s water‑soluble compounds and a small amount of essential oil molecules. This is what we call hydrosol.

Characteristics of Hydrosol
