100% Pure Natural Essential Oils

Pure Essential Oils (CO2)
Supercritical CO2 (SC-CO2):
CO2 (carbon dioxide) is used as a solvent in this method.
The extraction takes place in a sealed container where the temperature and pressure are adjusted to the critical point of CO2.
At the critical point, CO2 transitions from a gas to a supercritical fluid—a state where it exhibits properties of both a gas and a liquid.
In this supercritical state, CO2 has excellent solvent properties and can selectively extract compounds from plant material.
CO2 Extraction for Essential Oils:
Botanical material (such as flowers, leaves, or other plant parts) is placed in the sealed container.
Supercritical CO2 is passed through the plant material, dissolving the essential oil components.
The CO2–essential oil mixture is then collected and depressurized, allowing the CO2 to return to its gaseous state.
The essential oil remains behind, separated from the CO2.
This method is highly efficient and gentle, preserving the delicate aromatic compounds found in the plant material.

Preservation of Volatile Molecules: CO2 extraction is particularly effective for retaining volatile compounds that are sensitive to heat or oxidation.
